Housemaid thrashed for refusing to sleep with Bedoun sponsor Wife beaten, stabbed thrice in minor altercation
KUWAIT CITY, April 15: A 29-year-old housemaid filed a complaint accusing her Bedoun employer of beating her severely after she refused to sleep with him on Wednesday. The woman filed a medical report which stated that she sustained several bruises on account of the beating.
Securitymen will summon the employer for interrogation.
Wife beaten, stabbed: A woman was beaten mercilessly and stabbed three times by her husband during a minor disagreement. She was referred to Jahra Hospital for treatment.
At the same time, security operatives in Jahra received information the man had kidnapped their children and sped off in a vehicle, so police sealed all exits and entrances to the area, and the man surrounded to police.
A case of attempted murder was registered against him at the police station.
2 hurt in expat fracas: Two men suffered fractures and several other injuries in a bitter fight that broke out among two groups of Egyptians in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area, near the Communications Center, on Wednes-day.
Sources say when the paramedics tried to take the injured to hospital, the other group tried to damage the ambulances. Securitymen then arrested all involved in the melee and referred them to authorities. A case was registered.
