KUWAIT CITY, April 14: A young woman has lodged a complaint at Sulaibiya Police Station against her ex-lover who allegedly threatened to kill her if she does not reconcile with him.
The complainant told police the ex-lover repeatedly called her mobile phone, threatening to kill her unless she agrees to continue their relationship. This has prompted the young woman to report the incident with police.
A case was registered and the ex-lover has been summoned for questioning to verify the young woman’s claim.

60 youths held: Sixty youths who were caught harassing female students in front of the Business Studies Faculty in Hawalli were tonsured and were made to sign a pledge that they will not repeat such behavior. 
The youths were given a stern warning and told that if they indulged in such behavior again, they will face more serious consequences.

Woman harassed: A woman has filed a complaint at Jahra Police Station against a youth for harassing her along an undisclosed road.
According to the complainant, she tried to stop the suspect but her efforts went in vain as the young man continued making immoral gestures.  She then took his plate number and reported the incident to the security operatives.
A case was registered and police will summon the young man for interrogation.

Man beaten, run over: A Kuwaiti man in his 20s was beaten black and blue and then run over by a vehicle in Sulaibikhat area on Tuesday.
Sources say the victim got into a fight with three others. Acting on information, securitymen rushed to the scene, but the attackers escaped by then. The victim, who suffered fractures and various other injuries, was referred to Al-Sabah Hospital and securitymen are waiting for his condition to improve to find out about the suspects. A case was registered.

Indian hurt in fall: A 39-year-old Indian expatriate was injured with a fractured leg and severe cut to his lower lip when he fell from a roof at the Al-Sabah Cooperative Society Tuesday afternoon.
Securitymen and paramedics rushed to the scene to assist the injured man after the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry was alerted, and he was referred to Mubarak Hospital for treatment.

Asian killed in Jleeb: An Asian man died when a car knocked him down in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh.
Acting on information received by the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry in that regard, securitymen and paramedics rushed to the scene to assist the situation. Upon arrival, paramedics pronounced the man had already died due to the serious injury he sustained during the mishap.
Criminal Evidences Men were called to carry the corpse to the Forensics for autopsy, and the case was registered.
