I am working in the private sector on Visa 18 (work permit). My salary is KD170/-. My wife is also working in the private sector on Visa 18 and her salary is KD340/- Please advise me on the following:
1. Can my wife give birth to the baby in Kuwait?
2. Can I sponsor my child?
3. What is the minimum salary required to sponsor the child?

Answer: The minimum salary required to sponsor the baby is KD250 but when both husband and wife are already working they can club their salaries to meet the requirement. So there should be no problem in your wife giving birth to the baby in Kuwait and you will be able to sponsor the child.
