Illegal couple in porn trade Forger held

Officers from Farwaniya Security Directorate have arrested two Arabs for forging important documents like death certificates, divorce papers and academic certificates. In a press statement Tuesday, the directorate revealed the suspects were arrested at the Farwaniya Immigration Department. Police also found two envelopes containing forged documents and equipment used for forgery when they searched their vehicles. During interrogations, both suspects admitted the crime, saying that they have been forging documents for quite some time in exchange for money. They were referred to the authorities for the necessary legal action.

Illegal couple in porn trade: Police have arrested an Asian couple for trading in pirated porno CDs and committing adultery, reports Al-Rai daily.
The daily quoting security sources said police acting on information put the man under surveillance and raided his apartment in Hawalli and seized from him a large amount of CDs.
According to police the woman was living illegally with the man and has given birth to an illegitimate child.

5 Egyptians face ouster: The State Security Department has ordered the deportation of five Egyptians for violating laws, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
The Egyptians were arrested for participating in a rally which was called to support the former head of the IAEA Dr Mohammed ElBaradei who is planning to contest the Egyptian presidential elections.
Meanwhile, the Al-Rai daily said Mohammed ElBaradei has called on the Kuwaiti authorities to allow the deported Egyptians to return to their jobs citing humanitarian grounds.
The men were deported for organizing a gathering to support of ElBaradei. The former IAEA head on the Internet website Twitter has described the deportation as oppression.

Police hunt thief maid: Police are looking for an Indonesian maid for stealing KD 900 from the home of her sponsor and jewelry worth KD 2,000, reports Arrouiah daily.
According to the complainant the maid opened the safe with a duplicate and stole the gold ornaments and cash when the family was away.

Nationality withdrawn: An Amiri decree has been issued to withdraw the Kuwaiti nationalities of a man and a woman, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
It has been reported all those who are related to these people will also suffer as a result of this decision.

Filipina, kids missing: A Kuwaiti man, whose identity has not been disclosed, has filed a missing persons report on his Filipino wife and his three sons - four, five and seven years old at the Sabahiya Police Station, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
In his complaint the man said his wife left the home with the children and that he does not know about their whereabouts.

Dual nationality case: A police officer at the Citizen’s Service Center has submitted a report on ‘forgery’ to his superiors on a person who holds dual nationality, reports Al-Anba daily.
It has been reported the forgery was discovered when the man  visited the centre to renew the residence permits of people working at his salon. When he handed over his Civil ID to the commercial registrar it was discovered he was registered as a GCC citizen.
However, the man’s driving license shows he is a Kuwaiti. It has also been discovered that he owns two companies - one registered under his name as a GCC citizen and the other as a Kuwaiti.
The issue has been referred to the Assistant Undersecretary for Citizenship and Passports Affairs.

Drunk at sensitive post: Police have arrested a non-Kuwaiti employee working in a sensitive position at a ministry for consuming alcohol, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The employee was caught in the early hours of the morning. The ministry guards have allegedly seized from the man’s car a bottle of whisky.

Wife beaten: An Arab woman in her 40s told police officers in Hawalli she was beaten by the husband Monday evening. She supported her claim with a medical report, which showed a fractured arm and deep cuts she sustained on her forehead. Police have since summoned the man for interrogation, and the case has been registered.


Pakistanis swindled: Police are looking for an Egyptian man for swindling three Pakistanis, reports Al-Shahed daily.
The suspect allegedly promised to find the men jobs in government sector in return for KD 3,000 each and then escaped with the money.
