Father accused of molesting 4-year-old girl ‘Rampaging American not a trooper’
KUWAIT CITY, April 11: An Egyptian woman has filed a complaint with the Fintas police station accusing her husband of molesting their four-year-old daughter, reports Al-Shahed daily.
The wife added the husband always touched the private parts of his daughter and the daughter too has admitted her father touched her.
The daughter has been referred to the Criminal Evidences Department. Police have summoned the father for interrogation.
Rampaging American not a trooper : Representatives of the American Army said an American citizen, identified as Leon John, who went on a rampage and destroyed the wheels of 17 vehicles and caused damages worth KD 4,000 on April 7, was not an army member, but was working as a security officer.
The man was incensed when a company selling used cars refused to pay back the full amount he paid as an advance for buying a vehicle.
The owner of the company told Al-Seyassah daily that American Army representatives visited his office in Belajat Street, Salmiya and after checking their records, confirmed that the suspect was not a soldier.
2 held drinking in public: Police have arrested two persons— a Lebanese and an Egyptian — for drinking alcohol in a public place, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
According to the security sources the drunkards were arrested while driving along the Arabian Gulf Street for reckless driving and while issuing a citation a police officer found the men were under the influence of alcohol.
Police have reportedly seized from the men’s car a bottle of locally manufactured alcohol and a beer can.
Drugs in underwear: Customs officers at Kuwait International Airport arrested an Arab expatriate in his 30s with six narcotic pills, which were carefully hidden inside his underwear. Security sources said the man became confused while officers were checking his luggage, which prompted them to check his body, and they found drugs, although nothing had been found in the luggage.
