KUWAIT CITY, April 8: Two Kuwaiti citizens had to be admitted to Farwaniya Hospital following a violent fight that broke out among nine people in a commercial complex in Sabah Al-Nasser area Wednesday evening. Sources say the men fought with sticks and sharp objects.

Securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location after the Operations Room received a report about the incident, and paramedics referred the injured man, who suffered fractures and cuts and other bruises to Sabah Hospital.
Teen son missing: An Arab man has filed a missing persons report on his 19-year-old son at Hawally Police Station.
The father told police his son left their home Wednesday after a heated argument between them and he did not return since then. He contacted all their relatives and friends, hoping they know their whereabouts but his efforts went in vain. He also called his son’s mobile phone but it was switched off.
He provided police with a detailed description of his son and copies of which have been distributed to various security checkpoints as part of the intensified search for the missing teenager.
4 Kuwaitis held drunk: Police arrested two Kuwaiti women and their two male compatriots in Ahmadi Wednesday for consuming alcohol.
While conducting routine inspection in the area, police noticed the erratic movement of a vehicle, so they signaled for the driver to pull over. Upon approaching the vehicle, police saw the confused state of the driver and his three companions — two Kuwaiti women and a male compatriot.
Preliminary interrogations revealed the whole group was under the influence of alcohol, so they were referred to the authorities for the necessary legal action.

His friends called the Operations Room at the Ministry of Interior (MoI) after seeing the victim writhing in pain. Securitymen and paramedics arrived at the scene shortly after the call and they took the victim to the nearest hospital.
A case was registered and interrogations are underway to determine actual circumstances leading to the incident.
