KUWAIT CITY, April 6: A Bedoun man in his 30s died of drug overdose in Ardiya. The man’s family, who found him lying on the floor inside his room, called the Operations Room. However, the paramedics who accompanied securitymen to the scene could not revive the man, since he was already dead before the team arrived. Drug consuming tools were found near him. Criminal Evidences Men carried the body to the Forensics for autopsy.

Girl attempts suicide: A 13-year old Kuwaiti girl tried to end her life by taking drug overdose, during a minor disagreement with her parents inside their family residence in Riqqa area.
She was referred to Adan Hospital and given a stomach wash. Meanwhile, the case has been registered in Riqqa police station, while police are waiting for her condition to improve to unravel the motive behind the attempted suicide.

Youth escapes rape: An unidentified youth filed a case with police officers in Ahmadi and reported that two other youths known to him kidnapped and tried to molest him in Jeleia, but he managed to escape.
Security sources said the youth was exhausted when he arrived at the station. He also told police the youths took pictures while they tried to molest him, and then he ran off. The case was registered, and the youths were called for investigation. They have since been referred to the concerned authorities.

Kuwaiti beaten on road: A Kuwaiti got a fractured nose and injuries in various parts of his body after engaging in a public brawl with several men near the traffic signal at the end of the Fourth Ring Road opposite Salmiya Fire Service Department.
Paramedics and securitymen were dispatched to the location immediately after the Operations Room received information about the fight.  The injured was referred to Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital.
A case was registered at Rumaithiya Police Station and investigations are in progress to establish the actual circumstances which resulted in the scuffle.

Maid hurt in flee bid: An Asian housemaid, in her 20s, suffered from serious head injuries when she fell from the third floor of a building in an attempt to escape from her sponsor through the window of the latter’s flat.
Paramedics and securitymen rushed to scene immediately after receiving information about the incident.  The housemaid is now confined at the Intensive Care Unit in Adan Hospital.
A case was registered at Umm Al-Haiman Police Station.  Security authorities are waiting for the housemaid’s condition to improve before interrogating her to determine if there was foul play involved
