KUWAIT CITY, April 3: Two Kuwaiti youths in their 20s were injured in a fist fight that broke out among six individuals in a famous commercial complex in Salmiya. Paramedics referred them to Mubarak Hospital for treatment while securitymen arrested the other four. A case was registered. In a separate incident, a Kuwaiti man was injured when he got into a fight with two others in Maidan Hawalli. He was referred to Mubarak Hospital and the others were arrested. During interrogation, the other two failed to give a reasonable justification for the fight. They said they were walking on the road and suddenly a fight broke out. A case was registered.

Furthermore, a 27-year-old Kuwaiti was injured in a fight in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area. He was referred to Farwaniya Hospital. Sources say four men - three Iranians and another Kuwaiti - were involved in the fight and were arrested.  A case was registered. Also, seven people got into a violent fight in Sulaibiya area Friday. Three among them sustained injuries and had to be referred to Farwaniya Hospital, while the rest escaped. A case was registered and securitymen are trying to arrest the other four involved in the fight. In yet another incident, a teenager got multiple injuries after engaging in a public brawl with another youth in Jaber Al-Ali.

Passersby saw the injured youth in a pool of blood and they reported the incident to the Operations Room, which dispatched security officers and paramedics to the scene. The victim was admitted to Adan Hospital. A case was registered and investigations are in progress to identify the attacker. In an unrelated incident, a 22-year-old Kuwaiti sustained several injuries when a compatriot beat him in Surra. The injured was referred to Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital. Meanwhile, a security officer, who works at the Criminal Evidence Department, has arrested a young transvestite for hitting his car.
