Italian doctor molests Moroccan woman Afghan sought in child kidnap bid

KUWAIT CITY, April 1: An Afghan, in his 40s, has lodged a complaint at Jahra Police Station against unidentified persons he accused of stealing car spare parts worth KD 500.
According to the complainant, he runs a car spare parts shop in the scrapyard and he was surprised when he found the door of the shop was broken when he opened it Wednesday. He later discovered some of the spare parts, worth KD 500, were stolen.
A case was registered and the security officers lifted fingerprints to identify the culprits.

Afghan sought: The Jahra police are looking for an unidentified Afghan plumber for attempting to kidnap a bedoun child, reports Al-Shahed daily.
According to reports the father of the child witnessed the incident and when he raised an alarm the suspect left behind his motorbike and escaped on foot.
Acting on information police rushed to the spot and surrounded the area but failed to find the man. His motorbike has been impounded by the Taima police.

Woman molested: A 32-year-old Moroccan woman has filed a complaint with the Rumaithiya Police Station accusing an Italian doctor of a private clinic of molesting her when she visited his clinic, reports Al-Shahed daily.
The doctor has been referred for interrogation.

13 illegals held: During a security campaign organized by the Farwaniya Security Directorate police have arrested 13 people for violating residence laws, six wanted by law in connection with unidentified criminal offences and seized two cars wanted by the security authorities, reports Al-Shahed daily.

Pakistani accused: A Kuwaiti man lodged a complaint at Adan Police Station accusing a Pakistani contractor of cheating him to the tune of KD 500, reports Al-Anba daily.
The complainant said the Pakistani charged KD 500 for doing restoration work at his house, but the accused is neither doing the job nor returning the money.

Fake cheque issued: A Kuwaiti woman filed a complaint at Shuwaikh Police Station accused a compatriot of giving a fake cheque worth KD 3,000, reports Al-Anba daily.
The complainant said she and the accused launched a commercial project together and the man presented her a cheque as her share of the profit. However, she was shocked when the bank said it was a forged cheque and that the accused doesn’t have an account there.

ATM lost, cash stolen: The Hawalli police are looking for an unidentified person for ‘stealing’ KD 2,550 from the account of a Jordanian man, reports Al-Anba daily.
According to a complaint filed by the Jordanian at the Hawalli Police Station, he lost his ATM card and when he realized the loss it was too late, the person who found it had already stolen all the money from his account.

Trio held doing drugs: Three unidentified bedoun who were caught red-handed while consuming drugs at an unidentified location have been arrested and referred to the concerned authorities, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
According to security sources the suspects were caught by Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh police patrol.
In other news, police have arrested a 30-year-old Kuwait who had been sentenced in absentia for three years imprisonment in connection with theft and forgery of documents.

Principal assaulted: The principal of an unidentified boys school located in Ardhiya has filed a complaint with the police accusing the auditor of the school of assaulting him, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The daily did not give more details.

Woman assaulted: A Kuwaiti woman, whose identity has not been disclosed, has filed a complaint with the police accusing her husband of beating her, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
According to the complainant the husband was involved in an argument with her and he allegedly lost his temper and hit her on the head with a fire extinguisher.
The incident happened inside the family home in Al-Qasser.

Flight returns: An outbound Wataniya Airways flight No 403 to Beirut allegedly returned back to the Sheikh Saad General Aviation Terminal following a technical problem, reports Al-Shahed daily. The plane after necessary repairs took off with 65 passengers.
