Attitude Problem

Over the last one month I have been having problems with my manager as I feel that he discriminates between employees. Sometimes, I get angry and refuse to take orders from him. He says that unless I change my attitude he will have me dismissed without any end of service benefits. What should I do because, I feel his attitude is not correct? Can he get me fired without giving me my end of service benefits?

Answer:
What your are doing is not right. If you feel he is not treating you “correctly” you should report the matter to his superiors and let them investigate the matter and take appropriate action.
Unless you bring the issue to the notice of your superiors, you could end up being fired but according to the new law your benefits can’t be taken away.
But, if you continue to disregard his orders, you are setting up yourself for trouble and could be fired. Throw the ball into your superiors court and let them deal with the situation.
