KUWAIT CITY, March 26: Scores of Asian workers living in the so-called bachelors quarters in Hassawi were whisked away for interrogation at a police station after a Thai worker was found dead inside a toilet, reports Al-Shahed daily.
According to security sources paramedics, police and personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department rushed to the spot after someone informed about the death to the Operations Department of the Ministry of Interior.
Police have not ruled out murder given the suspicious circumstances surrounding the man’s death. According to a security source the corpse bore marks of torture.
The man’s remains have been referred to Forensics.
Meanwhile, the remains of an unidentified Asian man who died inside the Deportation Center have been referred to Forensic to identify the cause of death, reports Al-Dar daily.
It has been reported the Asian was reported missing by his sponsor and following his arrest he was held at the Deportation Center.
He reportedly suddenly collapsed and fellow inmates informed the prison wardens. When medical help arrived he was declared dead.

Inmate injured in fight: Four inmates of the Central Prison were involved in a fight and one inmate had to be rushed to the Farwaniya Hospital with a broken nose, bruises and injuries on his body while the three others have been referred for interrogation, reports Al-Shahed daily.
According to a security source the fighters were separated by prison wardens. Investigations are underway to know the reasons for the fight.

Drunk citizen held: The Al-Adan police have arrested a Kuwaiti man for drinking alcohol in a public place and harassing passersby, reports Alam Alyawm daily.
According to reports the man was arrested outside a well-known restaurant in Al-Qosour because the man terrified women and children going to the restaurant.

Bedoun held with fake note: A 24-year-old Bedoun man was arrested by securitymen on patrol duty in Sulaibiya, after the officers spotted the man walking by the road, and then he tried to run away.
The officers are said to have pursued the man, while a 10 dinar forged currency was found on him during a search. He was referred to the concerned authority for further investigation.
