Bahrain case final warning
IRANIAN officials often say, “We look forward to more cordial relations with neighboring countries,” in an attempt to douse tension in the region. However, the real situation on the ground is the exact opposite.
It is difficult to consider the activities of these officials as efforts to improve ties with neighboring states. They have actually taken steps to control and disrupt the security and stability not only of the region but also the entire Arab world. The discovery by Bahraini officials that an Iranian state minister is involved in money laundering for the Revolutionary Guard has exposed the dangerous aspect of the Iranian project. This implies that Iran intends to attack the Gulf economy, then its security, in preparation for the implementation of its ultimate agenda — to control the entire region. This might rouse global suspicions that illegal economic activities thrive in the region. The Iranian Revolutionary Guard gangsters can exploit some weak minds keen on making quick money even at the expense of national security.
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard is not just a military institution; it is rather the basic composition of the regime because it controls the government’s machinery. It works according to the country’s policies, not for personalities, so anything related to it should be observed in that perspective and goals. It is not possible to separate the state institutions and agencies, as the security agencies are part of the larger system of governance.
The lesson provided by the Bahraini minister should sound as the final warning to the entire Arab Gulf nations as regards to the expected danger, if they are swayed by diplomatic statements of the Iranian officials or fail to learn from previous ties with Tehran.
The latest of such ties is the dangerous dimension discovered by Bahraini officials, which the political leaders in Manama dealt with accordingly, since the Bahraini King immediately removed the minister involved in the anomaly. This issue surfaced shortly after incidents in North Yemen exposed infiltration of espionage activities into the country and how Iran planned to cause tension in South Saudi Arabia.
Iran has been capitalizing on complaints of the minority in the region, thinking that the propaganda will work among Arabs. These lies did not work with anybody except the Iranian leaders. Exploitation of arms and drug trades, as well as money laundering targeted at some highly placed persons who want to make quick money, are clear indications of the real intentions of Iran that has been fanning embers of sectarian discord among people.
They have been using dirty money to perpetrate crises. They have been using Hezbollah as a tool to control Lebanon through violence and provocation. They tried to transform North Yemen to South Lebanon, and attempted to cause trouble between Hamas — their deadly mercenary — and other factions of the Palestinian Liberation Organisation. They never stopped infiltrating many Arab and Muslim nations with their surrogates to propagate their plans through sectarian activities, which nobody reckons with. Intention of the Iranian regime to dump wastes on the Gulf nations to create excuses for her actions at the international level is like an arrow that kills the owner. The crises– oriented imaginations cannot break the region into sectarian divisions in as much as some people are alert and watching the trend of dirty games of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard. The region should remain conscious and wary of this trend.
The Gulf countries have no alternative than to face plans of the Iranian regime squarely with wisdom and serious actions to destroy all active and inactive mercenaries of Tehran. Iran’s intention is not only to control the region but also to convert it to a dangerous and insecure zone.
Those who were indicted in the Bahrain saga are examples of devil plants in the regional desert, while many other such masqueraders are among us. The region should be more decisive in handling the issue to avoid putting their institutions and personalities on the global blacklist for money laundering and aid of terrorism. The catastrophe caused by global economic recession is enough, so we do not want the Iranian government to create more difficulties for us. Iran, which has become a problem to Islam due to organized crimes it has been carrying out in Muslim societies, should realize the need to take its hands off our countries.
