KUWAIT CITY, March 21, (KUNA): Ministry of Interior, represented by the Nationality, Passports directorate, denied on Sunday a report published by a daily newspaper Sunday about verbal or written orders banning the issuance of entry or visit visas to Iranians, confirming that this matter is “unfounded”.
The ministry said in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) today that the directorate is implementing the visions of His Highness the Amir, instructions of the Minister of the Interior and follow-up of Undersecretary of the ministry on facilitating the entry of various nationalities in order to transform Kuwait into a financial center.
The statement added that the Nationality directorate “has not issued any verbal or written instructions in this regard”.
