Leave and sick leave as per New Labor Law
I am working in a private firm for the last 7 years as ‘Manager’. Am I entitled to 30 days of annual leave per year from now onwards as per the new Labor Law?
Also I understand that sick leave of 15 days per annum as per new Labor Law can be availed along with annual leave of 30 days while on vacation every year if sick leave is not availed by the employee during that particular year?

Answer: You are right on one account and wrong on the other.
Yes, you are entitled to 30 days annual leave every year according to the new law but you can’t join it with sick leave regardless of whether you have availed the sick leave or not. These are two different things.
Both these leaves are not linked in any way. If you avail sick leave, it can’t be cut from your annual leave and if you don’t it can’t be added to your annual leave.
