KUWAIT CITY, March 18: An Asian housemaid hanged herself to death in her sponsor’s house in Qadsiya area Thursday.
Sources say securitymen, paramedics and Criminal Evidences Department officials went to the scene on receiving information about the suicide and referred the woman’s remains to forensics. According to the sponsor, she was in a bad psychological state.
A case was registered and securitymen are investigating the case.

Filipina molested: A Filipina, in her 30s, filed a complaint with police against an Arab who allegedly molested her while she was shopping in Farwaniya Wednesday.
She told police the suspect — an Arab laborer at the shop — touched private parts of her body when she entered a clothes shop in Farwaniya.  She immediately reported the incident to the nearest police station. 
A case was registered and securitymen will summon the Arab laborer for questioning.

Young girl harassed: A young girl filed a police complaint accusing a Kuwaiti man of harassing her in Waha area. She said the citizen kept calling her and used to send several romantic messages. She said he refused to stop despite her repeated requests.

Afghans in fight: An Afghan expatriate filed a complaint against three of his compatriots accusing them of breaking into his house, attacking his wife and stealing KD 240.
The complainant reportedly had a disagreement with the three suspects after which they went berserk.

Maid hurt fleeing: An Asian housemaid got serious injuries when she fell from the second floor of her sponsor’s house in Ishbiliya Wednesday.
Paramedics and securitymen rushed to the scene after receiving information about the incident.  They discovered the housemaid fell as she was trying to escape from her sponsor.  She is now confined at Farwaniya Hospital.
