Corpse found in building Mother fears son

KUWAIT CITY, March 17: A corpse believed to be of an Asian man was found inside an abandoned building in Hassawi area. Securitymen and paramedics were dispatched to the location after the Operations Room was notified, where paramedics pronounced the man had already died, after they examined the body. Criminal Evidences Men referred the corpse to the Forensics to determine the time and cause of death.

Mother threatened: A Kuwaiti woman has filed a case against her 20-year old son who allegedly threatened to kill her during a minor family disagreement. She stressed her son threatens to kill her every now and then, and she is afraid he might murder her one day. The case was registered for investigation, and the son is being investigated.

Hit, run motorist nabbed: A Kuwaiti citizen in his 20s who ran over a Filipino in Fahaheel area was arrested by police in Mahboula when the officers spotted the vehicle, which was parked near a grocery store, during their routine patrol of the area.  Sources said the man became confused when the officers approached and questioned him. A check on his details revealed he was wanted for the offense. He has since been transferred to the concerned authority for further investigation.

Nuisance motorist found drunk:
Securitymen took one reckless motorist, who was harassing other motorists by changing the direction of traffic into custody, following a distress call placed to the Operations Room to report the incident. Securitymen noticed the man was heavily intoxicated during his arrest.

Robbers hit Taima salon : Owner of a salon for men registered a case in Taima police station against unidentified persons who broke into the salon and stole equipment worth KD 400. He explained one employee at the salon noticed the theft when he went to work. The case was registered for investigation.

Drunkard held: An Egyptian expatriate in his 40s told police officers in Abu-Halifa that a drunken Kuwaiti citizen in his 30s was disturbing tenants of a building, where he is working as security guard.
Acting on the information, security officers rushed to the location and arrested the man. He was referred to the concerned authority for necessary action.
