KUWAIT CITY, March 17: Their slogan is Project nation; established to be the umbrella to all the youth innovations at the national level, and to highlight the Kuwaiti achievements and small projects throughout their work. It is a non-profit national organization that has been established by a group of independent Kuwaiti youth for the love, devotion, and patriotism to their beloved country. The Proud to Be Kuwaiti team are holding their “Proud To Be Kuwaiti” (P2BK) event, for the third consecutive year, under the auspices of His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and this year the event takes place at the Kuwait International Fair grounds, Mishref, for three days, until the 19th of March, with a larger number of participants, sponsors and visitors. The Proud to Be Kuwaiti Team strives, as always, to enhance and develop the youth’s achievements and abilities in all fields and activities, while embracing and catering to the small and medium enterprises through continuous support and guidance from their infancy stage to infinity.
This event day has come to witness the efforts the rise and advancement of Kuwait’s youth and their success in many practical projects and social developments.  These projects began shy, modest and have evolved into a bright, shining sun to demonstrate, that the youth, can create a vivid future for Kuwait.
“The youth’s success was a major catalyst for the establishment of “Proud to Be Kuwaiti”, supporting the national initiatives and highlighting their inventions, even if slightly, to occupy a leading position in the Kuwaiti sponsorship initiative in support of Kuwait’s ambitious youth, stated Dhari Al-Wazzan, founder of P2BK.
“In our belief, the ability of the Kuwaiti youth’s creativity and excellence, strove to highlight a small and modest drop in the ocean of their creations. Through our forum of “Proud to Be Kuwaiti” we will continue the preparation of their achievements as our national duty towards our community, fulfilling their dreams, pushing them towards their achievements, and preparing them to indulge in a society armed with culture, science, and originality. As they are the model of the motivated and successful youth, we hope to meet their expectations and aspirations of an improved and progressed Kuwait. We gather in our love and pride for Kuwait, for belongingness to our beloved country, making every effort to become a forefront to our shinning nation,” he added.
The aim of P2BK rests on supporting and highlighting Kuwaiti youth’s energies in various fields and levels by organizing activities, events, and national contributions, while exposing and overcoming the obstacles facing them during their inception and beginning. To also occupy a leading and progressive place as a non-profit organization that sponsors and supports small and medium enterprises in Kuwait, as well as emphasizing the importance of non-profit organizations within the community and their instrumental role in the emergence of a younger generation that values volunteering. Furthermore, a very important role to those that lead in Proud to Be Kuwaiti is promoting the society humanitarianly, intellectually, and professionally. To promote the spirit of national belongingness and adherence to the values of our customs, society, and national spirit, as well as supporting youth projects through training and ongoing guidance with the support of the media exposure of our project.
