13 killed in new sectarian violence in central Nigeria
JOS, Nigeria, March 17, 2010 (AFP) - Thirteen Christians were killed by Muslim Fulani herdsmen in an overnight attack on a village in central Nigeria, Plateau State Information Commissioner Gregory Yenlong said Wednesday.
"I can confirm that 13 people have died while six others have been critically injured. They are now on admission at a missionary hospital in Vom," near the state capital Jos, Yenlong told AFP.
