KUWAIT CITY, March 15: Out of keenness to communicate with all the media and the promotion of transparency in the inter-relationship between Al-Ahli Bank of Kuwait and the media, representatives of newspapers and local media were invited to a dinner ceremony honoring at the JW Marriott Hotel, on March 14, in recognition of their efforts in the field of information, and to promote the principle of cooperation and confidence in the aim of delivering the right and objective message of the Bank as a national institution to the public with the most credibility and transparency.
Representatives of the press and the media, were received by Miss Sahar Al-Tharban Public Relations Manager, where she welcomed the attendees in an opening speech stressing the large and constructive role played by the media and local newspapers in providing transparent and objective analysis, thus enhancing the credibility of the message and strengthening bilateral relations.
She also commented on the role of social media, where she said, “The credibility in our joint work are the basis for establishing a correct relationship between a commercial banking institution which is growing up in economic performance and a profession information industry that reflects reality and analyzes the news with integrity and precision that we are proud of.”

After the reception, a presentation was held highlighting the rapid developments in the Bank during the recent period, including the increase in the number of branches and the development of services and innovative banking products and promotions aimed at providing real added value for customers to enjoy the experience of a leading banking system that gives them safety with many advantages. The presentation included a focus on the good financial results reached by the Al Ahli Bank.
After the presentation, Al-Tharban confirmed the Bank’s interest in all social responsibility programs and in providing support to national institutions through the provision of financial contributions to many social activities sports, and educational and cultural institutions with special needs. She also noted the Kuwaiti labor recruitment policy which reflects the bank’s interest to ascend the community and contribute to the prosperity and growth.
Later in the evening, Secretary Board of Directors Abdullah Al-Ousta from Al-Ahli Bank of Kuwait, honored representatives of the media and newspapers and presented commemorative plates as an expression of gratitude and appreciation to the role of journalists and the media.
