Arab deported in sex case
KUWAIT CITY, March 15: Police have deported a young man from an unidentified GCC state for molesting a girl in a public park in Jahra, reports Al-Shahed daily. The daily said the incident took place one week ago.
Back to the prison: In what is believed to be the first time in Kuwait’s history, the Public Prosecution has issued an order to return some inmates of the Central Prison back to jail — the inmates who were released last year upon an Amiri Pardon, reports Al-Qabas daily.
According to knowledgeable judiciary sources the decision was taken based on reports the inmates had failed to satisfy the conditions laid out for release such as good conduct during imprisonment while 15 prisoners were put behind bars because they had returned to criminal activity.
The sources added some of the prisoners have already been sent back to prison while arrest warrants have been issued against others.
Killer for mental test: The Public Prosecution has referred an unidentified person to the Psychiatric Hospital for strangling his sister to death, reports Arrouiah daily. The daily without giving details of the incident quoting the suspect’s family said the man is ‘psychologically ill’.
Cadet dies in training: A cadet officer (third year) from the Saad Al-Abdullah Academy for Security Sciences allegedly died during training inside the academy, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The remains of the deceased have been referred to Forensics. However, initial reports show the man died of natural causes.
Police probe naked corpse: Police are investigating the death of a Kuwaiti man who allegedly died of an overdose of drugs according to Forensics, reports Arrouiah daily. It has been reported the corpse of the man was found in an open ground in Sabah Al-Salem. There were no clothes on his body.
Jibali to be deported: The Human Rights Committee of the National Assembly and the Ministry of Interior has agreed to release the Jordanian businessman Hashem Al-Jibali who is being held at the Deportation Centre for the past five years, reports Alam Alyawm quoting knowledgeable parliamentary sources.
The decision to deport Jibali was taken five years ago and the man was reportedly tortured and sent to solitary confinement for 18 months.

Fraudster arrested: Police have arrested a Kuwaiti man who was wanted by law for committing a KD 35,000 financial fraud, reports Al-Dar daily.
The daily added the man was arrested while parking his car in the ‘No Parking’ zone at an unidentified location and when police checked his name on the computer it was discovered he had been sentenced in absentia and was wanted by the Sentences Enforcement Department.
Women drunk on duty: The Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor has disclosed two female employees working for the ministry’s labor sector have been interrogated for consuming alcohol, reports Al-Dar daily.
The daily added, it is surprising no action has been taken against the women but they have been transferred to other departments.
Woman in KD 6,000 fraud: Police have arrested a Kuwaiti woman for committing a financial fraud worth KD 6,000, reports Alam Alyawm daily. Without giving details of the crime, the daily said the woman was arrested at a police check point in Abu Halifa.
