KUWAIT CITY, March 10: Following the Civil Service Commission’s (CSC) approval of salary increments for expatriate personnel working at the Ministry of Public Works (MPW), the workers will be paid an extra KD 10 allowance annually through their accounts at the banks, in addition to the newly approved salaries, reports Al-Dar daily.
The daily quoted a reliable ministry source as saying a committee has been formed to prepare the list of names of beneficiaries for approval of the minister of Public Works, to pave the way for the payment of allowances by June.
This came after a joint meeting of the MPW and CSC, based on a letter submitted by Undersecretary of Public Works Eng Abdullaziz Al-Kulaib to raise the workers salaries.
