BSK presents ‘Snow White and 7 Jockeys’

Year 3 students from The British School of Kuwait gave a stunning performance of Roald Dahl’s ‘Snow White and the 7 Jockeys’ for a captive audience of parents and guests.
As this tale goes, the 7 little men were ex-jockeys who wanted to become famous by predicting which horse would win the ascot Gold Cup Steeplechase Race.

Of course, all they had to do was ask the Magic Mirror and once they knew the winner they could all  live a life of luxury at the palace with Snow White, the King and the Queen.
The production was a show case for the 125 students involved and a credit to the Year 3 teachers Neil, Miss Natasha, Miss Helen, Darren and Miss Paula, who spent hours making this the must-see event in the BSK Junior Department calendar. Musical Director Nigel Ross and Director Joanne Wild guided the students through a sophisticated blend of over 20 songs and dances which culminated in all the students taking to the stage for a fantastic version of ‘Snow White’s Scheme.’

This spectacular event had the audience laughing, clapping and humming along to the tunes, as all the children demonstrated their amazing acting, singing and dancing abilities. The show ran over two evenings to a full crowd of over 200 parents, friends and family members and was a huge success. This was thanks to the dedication and hard work of all the staff and students from BSK.
