KUWAIT CITY, March 9: As part of the jubilant celebration coupled with the pride of nationalism, Wataniya Telecom, a pioneer in the telecom industry in Kuwait recently sponsored Watan Annahar, an annual event in celebration of the National and Liberation day held in London which gathers all Kuwaiti students studying in the UK.  The auspicious event was held at Kimberland Hotel from 27th February till 28th February in the presence of the Kuwaiti Ambassador to UK in addition to other prominent figures.
Wataniya’s sponsorship of Watan Annahar is one of the many significant objectives to support and promote the youth of Kuwait in their academic journey. Wataniya considers this not only as a sponsorship event but also a wonderful opportunity that brings together the youth of Kuwait studying abroad in an aura of nationalism thus giving back to the community the true importance of ones and communication in our lives.
