Teen raped by trio he knew Man beaten in old feud
KUWAIT CITY, March 8: A citizen in his 40s told police officers in Ardiya his 16-year-old son was molested by three people he knows.
The man narrated his son was on his way to see his friends when those three people approached and offered to drive him there, which his son agreed because he knew them. However, they drove him to a deserted area and molested him by force. The case has been registered, while the accused persons will be called for interrogation.
Man beaten: Six unidentified men, believed to be in their 20s, attacked a 25-year-old Kuwaiti man at a camping tent in Kabad area Sunday evening.
The man suffered four deep cuts on his head and a fracture in his left foot, besides bruises all over his body and a suspected fracture in his right hand. The miscreants had escaped before securitymen arrived on the scene. The victim said he was attacked due to an old dispute.
A case was registered and securitymen are looking for the suspects.
Liquor, drugs seized: Three Kuwaitis in their 20s and 30s respectively were apprehended in possession of a bottle of liquor and two fingers of hashish by police officers on patrol in Hawalli. The suspects aroused police suspicion when they spotted them in a car, amid loud music and requested the driver to pull over.
During questioning, the officers noticed he was intoxicated. They went on to search inside the car and found the contraband. The culprits have since been referred to the authority for further investigation.
Gold stolen from flat: A 48-year-old Egyptian expatriate filed a case at Farwaniya police station and reported thieves broke into his flat and stole jewelry worth KD 2,000.
The man narrated he went out with his family, and returned home to discover his door has been broke open. He noticed the item was missing after checking the house.
Meanwhile, Criminal Evidences Men lifted fingerprints from the scene to trail the thieves, and the case was registered.
Drugs peddled to inmate: Officers at the Central Prison uncovered drugs that were smuggled to one of the inmates while detainees were being transferred to the Justice Palace.
The culprit confessed to arranging with an unknown person to smuggle drugs for his personal use. He was referred with the contraband to the concerned authority for further investigation.
Duo held with guns: Securitymen arrested two Kuwaitis, in their 30s, for the possession of Kalashnikov and hunting guns along Wafra Road.
While patrolling the area, the securitymen got suspicious of the movement of two Kuwaitis when they reached a checkpoint. Police then inspected their vehicle, leading to the discovery of the Kalashnikov and hunting guns. The two citizens were referred to the authorities for the necessary legal action.
Drugged Kuwaiti nabbed: Securitymen arrested a Kuwaiti man in his 30s for consuming drugs in Rawda area and recovered an unspecified amount of heroin and syringes from his car.
Patrols on routine duty reportedly noticed the abnormal behavior of a motorist and asked him to pull over. While talking to him, they realized he was under the influence of drugs and on checking the vehicle, found the contraband.
The Kuwaiti was referred to authorities.
