Couple caught making love in car; Woman seeks revenge
KUWAIT CITY, March 6: Hawally securitymen have arrested a young couple for engaging in immoral acts in Salmiya.
While patrolling the area, police noticed a car parked at a dark area in Salmiya, so they approached the vehicle for routine inspection. However, they were surprised to see a young couple in an indecent situation. The couple was referred to Salmiya Police Station for the necessary legal action.
Young woman harassed: A young woman has lodged a complaint against a young man she accused of harassing her while she was driving in Farwaniya.
The young woman told police the suspect tried to give her his number but she refused to take it, so he hit her vehicle and sped off. She provided police with the plate number of the suspect’s car and his detailed description to ease the search procedures.
Campsite looted: A Kuwaiti has filed a complaint at Jahra Police Station against some thieves who stole electronic devices worth KD300 from his camp in Mutla’a.
Security officers observed a remarkable increase in the number of theft cases at the camping site; hence, the need to intensify security measures to ensure the safety of camp-goers.
Woman seeks revenge: One marine engineer has recently told Al-Rai daily his part of the story which he said his ex-wife is allegedly fabricating with the assistance of her friends who have connection with police.
The engineer said his ex-wife is seeking vengeance after the court found her guilty and ruled in his favor for custody of their four children.
He added about 15 securitymen raided his apartment and humiliated him in front of his children and claimed he was involved in drug trafficking, after which they left. He urges the Interior Minister to protect him.
Minister faces suit: About 400 workers from the General Department of Interrogation are preparing to file a complaint with the Petitions and Complaints Committee in the Parliament against the Minister of Interior for interfering in investigations, and transferring some cases to police stations without making the necessary administrative provisions, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
Stable robbed: Some unidentified persons robbed a stable in Jahra, carting away with four television sets, two laptops and a number of cooking gas cylinders, reports Al-Rai daily.
Personnel from the Criminal Evidence Department lifted fingerprints to identify the culprits. Investigations are ongoing to arrest the suspects.
