KUWAIT CITY, March 5: An Indian man has been referred to the General Department for Drug Control to determine the quantity of alcohol in his body. He was arrested in Khaitan for possessing 21 bottles of locally-manufactured alcohol and was also drunk, reports Al-Anba daily.
In other news, another Indian has been arrested for possessing 150 porno CDs. The arrest came when a female citizen of an unidentified Gulf state complained to the police that her son had bought a porno CD from the man.

Drug pills found on 4: The Ahmadi police have arrested four Kuwaitis for possessing drug pills. The men were arrested in Abu Halifa, reports Arrouiah daily.
According to a security source the men were arrested by a police patrol at a late hour. The daily added the man behind the wheel was ordered to pull over and when an officer walked to the car of the suspects, they looked disoriented.
Police then searched the vehicle and seized the drug pills from the suspects and referred them to the authorities.

2 law violators arrested: The Hawalli police have arrested two residence law violators and another who was wanted by law in connection with a financial fraud, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
The daily did not give more details.

Man held for alcohol: Police have arrested a Kuwaiti man for drinking alcohol, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
Without going into details the daily said the man has been referred to the authorities.

Bedoun held for theft: Police have ar-rested an unidentified bedoun for stealing iron and copper cables, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
According to a security source the man was arrested while on his way to sell the loot.
The daily added the man was arrested on suspicion.

5 enter prohibited area:  The Kuwait International Airport police have arrested five people of different nationalities for entering the prohibited area without personal identity cards, reports Arrouiah daily. The men have been referred to the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh Police Station for interrogation.

Cell phone seized from inmate’s kin: The Central Prison guards have arrested an unidentified person for attempting to sneak a cell phone to his brother inside the facility who is serving time for an unidentified offence, reports Arrouiah daily.
The daily quoting security sources said the man was arrested at the gate. It has been reported inside the device seven telephone lines were hidden. The man has been referred to the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh Police Station.
A case of attempting to smuggle forbidden items into the facility has been registered against the man.

Citizen held for alcohol use: The Southern Highway patrolmen have arrested a 30-year-old Kuwaiti for driving under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested on the King Fahd Expressway, reports Arrouiah daily.
According to reports the man was arrested for reckless driving and police discovered he was under the influence of alcohol.
Police have reportedly seized from his car a bottle of Red Label whisky and referred him to the concerned authority.

6 injured in bloody fight: Six Kuwaiti youths who were injured following a bloody fight inside a camp in Julai’a have been admitted to the Adan Hospital, reports Al-Shahed daily.
The daily added some youths have been taken to the Mina Abdullah Police Station. The cause of the fight is not known.
