Al-Nisf crowned 2,000m horse race champion
Al-Nisf Stable emerged as the champion in the 2,000-meter race for second degree horses, winning the cup of HH the late Amir Sheikh Ahmad Al-Jaber recently.
‘Alallah’, a horse from the stable of Mohammed Jasim Al-Hamali with Morgan as its rider took the second position, while ‘Ma’aleek’ from Al-Matraqa Stable with rider Yousef Mohammed finished third, and fourth was ‘Ghala’ from Al-Hazza Stable.
On behalf of the heirs of the late Sheikh Ahmad Al-Jaber, Deputy Chairman of the Shooting Club Sheikh Ali Al-Hammoud awarded the cup to the owners of Al-Nisf Stable. He congratulated them for their victory and expressed his happiness as the event coincided with the National and Liberation days of Kuwait.
Meanwhile, ‘Maozoun’, a horse from Al-Banwan Stable with rider Mike, won the Beginner Horses Cup of Capital Governor Sheikh Ali Al-Jaber, setting a new record of 02:04:08.
Sheikh Ali Al-Hammoud and Sheikh Sabah Al-Fahd awarded the cup to Tariq Al-Banwan.
‘Jafeer’ from Al-Fanar Stable took the second position, ‘Fayyoum’ from Al-Nashama Stable was third, and ‘Sadiq’ from Bourisli Stable was fourth.
