KUWAIT, March 2, (KUNA): The Security Media Department of the Ministry of Interior drew up an intensive plan for the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) traffic week to be hosted by Kuwait from March 14-20 under the slogan of “Be careful of others’ mistakes”, it said in a press statement here Tuesday.
The statement said that this plan aims at activating the educational role and intensifying efforts in order to render the activities of the traffic week successful through an awareness campaign and the publication of brochures, posters and fliers and distributing them to citizens and residents alike.

It added that this educational drive seeks to raise the security and traffic awarness of citizens and residents through arranging a lot of lectures, forums and meetings in the mass media with the specialists and heads of the brotherly GCC participating delegations in order to introduce to people this significant slogan.
The statement also said that there will be awareness security messages that will be aired on the satellite channels and the news flashes.
This plan comes as part of the department’s preparation for the activities of the GCC traffic week which is an epitome of cooperation and coordination among the GCC member states.
