TRIPOLI, March 1, (KUNA):Visiting Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammad Al-Salem Al-Sabah delivered on Monday a letter from His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to Libyan Leader Mu’ammar Gaddafi. The message, which was handed during the Kuwaiti minister’s meeting with the Libyan leader, came within the framework of communication between Kuwait and Libya on the delineation of Arab stances on common issues, Kuwaiti Ambassador in Libya Mubarak al-Adwani, told KUNA.

It has also something to do with the current consultations and arrangements for the coming Arab summit due in Tripoli late March, he said. During his stay in Tripoli, the Kuwaiti foreign minister has also met his Libyan counterpart Mousa Kousa on the latest developments in the Middle East region and how to further bolster bilateral cooperative ties in all areas, the top Kuwaiti diplomat in Libya added. Five agreements and memos of understanding have been hammered out by both sides on the creation of joint committees for bilateral consultations, al-Adwani said. The deals reflect close people-to-people relations under the wise leadership of the Amir of Kuwait and Mu’ammar Gaddafi, he pointed out.
