KUWAIT CITY, Feb 28: A 27-year-old Indian barber reportedly ended his life by swallowing an unidentified toxic substance, reports Al-Shahed daily.
The victim was rushed to a hospital by friends, but he died while being treated in the intensive care unit.
According to the man’s friends, the victim was suffering from financial problems.
Meanwhile, an Egyptian worker fell to his death from the seventh floor of a building under construction in Hawalli, reports Al-Anba daily.

Death probed: The Interior Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Khaled has ordered an investigation into the death a few days ago of a traffic policeman, identified as Ahmad Hussein Mutlaq Al-Azmi, reports Al-Shahed daily quoting knowledgeable security sources.
Earlier it was reported the victim fell off a motorbike and died on the spot.
The reports also said senior officers will be interrogated and punished if it was found they have flouted the rules and regulations and promoted some undeserving candidates.
