KUWAIT CITY, Feb 24: An Indonesian woman in her 20s told police officers in Rabiya she was raped by her sponsor Monday night.
The woman said she was raped, while doing the household chores, and she went inside her sponsor’s room to clean there. The complainant added she was surprised when the sponsor attacked and raped her. Security operatives registered the case, and the suspect will be summoned for interrogation.

Man beaten: A 27-year-old citizen reported at Rehab police station he was physically assaulted by two of his neighbors Monday night, with sharp tools and sticks. The citizen supported his claim with a medical report, which indicated bruises and other wounds he sustained in different parts of his body as a result of the attack.
Acting on the information, the security operatives got the description of the attackers, who have been summoned for interrogation.

Arrest ‘killers’: The Interpol has requested its Kuwaiti counterpart to arrest the 11 persons who are allegedly holding British, Irish and German passports linked to the assassination of a Hamas leader Mahmoud Al-Mabhouh inside his hotel room in the United Arab Emirates should they enter Kuwait, reports Al-Rai daily.
Chairman of the Kuwait’s Interpol Counselor Mohammad Rashed Al-Duaij has accordingly issued instructions at all land and sea entry points.

Man falls to death: An Eg-ptian man fell to his death from the third floor of a building in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
According to reports the victim was wanted by law and was being chased by police. However, in a vain attempt to escape when he felt cornered, he jumped to his death. Meanwhile, an Indian man died on the spot after falling from the roof a building in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
According to security sources the mishap happened while the man was fixing a satellite dish.
The corpse of the victim has been referred to Forensics.
In another development. an unidentified 19-year-old died on the spot in a traffic accident under a bridge in Jahra, reports Arrouiah daily. The victim was reportedly speeding, lost control of the vehicle when one of the wheels exploded. The car turned turtle several times before coming to halt after crashing into cement barrier.
The corpse of the victim has been referred to Forensics.

Accounts hacked: Police are looking for an unidentified person for hacking the bank accounts of two Egyptians and withdrawing KD 600 from the bank account of one of them and KD 300 from another, reports Alam Alyawm daily.

Police car hit: An unidentified motorist hit a security vehicle in Salmiya Tuesday but the securitymen failed to arrest the suspect.
Security sources said the Operations Room received information about an accident, involving a four-wheel drive vehicle and a police car in Salmiya.  Securitymen and paramedics rushed to the scene to check the condition of the officer in the vehicle.  No casualties or injuries were reported.  
A case was registered and copies of a detailed description of the vehicle were distributed to various checkpoints to ease procedures for the suspect’s arrest.
