Family dispute drives woman towards suicide
KUWAIT CITY, Feb 22: A number of traffic accidents were reported recently, causing injuries to some motorists.
A Kuwaiti, in his 30s, suffered from multiple injuries when his vehicle flipped over on Salmi Motorway towards Jahra. Securitymen and paramedics rushed to the scene immediately after the Operations Room received information about the accident. They referred the injured to Jahra Hospital.
A two-vehicle collision was also reported in Hawally, resulting in injuries to a 32-year-old Egyptian. He was taken to Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital.
Another Kuwaiti got injuries in different parts of his body when his car rammed into a heavy vehicle in Sulaibiya. He was rushed to Farwaniya Hospital.
A Syrian suffered from injuries and fractures when his vehicle crashed into another on Wafra Motorway. He is now confined at Adan Hospital.
Meanwhile, the Mubarak Al-Kabir police recently saved the life of an unidentified young woman who attempted to end her life by throwing herself in front of moving cars on a main road at an unidentified location.
Police reports said the woman wanted to end her life due to family problems.
In another development, vehicular traffic near the entrance to the Free Zone was blocked for some time when a trailer truck overturned and lay on its side. No casualties have been reported.
