KUWAIT CITY, Feb 19: Four persons were injured, as they exchanged blows, amid knives and sticks, with two other individuals in Wafra. Securitymen and paramedics swiftly arrived at the scene after the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry was informed about the episode. Sources said the other two fighters escaped from the scene before police officers arrived. The injured persons were carried to Adan hospital for treatment, and the case was registered for investigation.

Expat  tries to commit suicide: An Asian expatriate tried to commit suicide by taking a large quantity of pills at his sponsor’s livestock pen in Kabad. Sponsor of the man told the Operations Room he found him unconscious at the kitchen, with a considerable number of pills scattered near him. Security and Medical Emergency Men rushed to the location, and he was referred to Farwaniya hospital for medical care. A case has been registered against him.

Egyptian apprehended: Security operatives at the Kuwait International Airport apprehended an Egyptian expatriate, after he posed as “Awar Al-Dajal”. He was referred to Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh police station, and a case has been registered against him.
