KUWAIT CITY, Feb 15: An Indian expatriate in his 30s was found dead, after he hanged himself with a rope inside his room at a bachelors’ apartment in Mangaf.
The Operations Room was informed about the episode, while securitymen and paramedics rushed to the scene. The paramedics confirmed the man had already died, after they examined the body, and Criminal Evidences Men carried the corpse to the Forensics for autopsy.

Teen runs from home: A Kuwaiti citizen in his 50s told officers in Andalous Police Station about his 19-year-old son, who left the family residence after a minor disagreement with his brother, and added his son declined to answer his mobile after several calls.
Meanwhile, police have taken his details for circulation at checkpoints, and the case has been registered.

Drugs, liquor found: A Kuwaiti citizen in his early 40s was found with five fingers of hashish, eight narcotic pills, and a bottle of imported gin in Salmiya area; after security officers on patrol spotted the suspect’s car, which was parked in a dark area, and approached it. The suspect is said to have become confused when he saw the officers, whereas they uncovered the illicit items, after a search they carried out inside the car.

Car thief held: A car thief was apprehended in Salmiya by police officers from the Hawalli Command, while his accomplice escaped immediately he sighted the officers.
They were on a routine patrol when they noticed the suspects, who were trying to steal a car at a dark spot and approached them. One of the suspects fled the scene immediately, but his partner was not lucky as the police nabbed him.
The thief confessed to stealing cars in the area, together with some accomplices, and admitted they were on a similar operation when the police caught him. He has since been detained at the police station for further investigation, and the search for his accomplice continues.
