THE Lebanese recently renewed their pledge of patriotism, sovereignty, independence and freedom for which the martyr, former prime minister Rafik Al-Hariri, sacrificed his life. A large number of people gathered in the heart of the capital without any coercion or provocation. This was in contrast with the actions of the Lebanese mercenaries of Iran, who have been trying to put Lebanon under permanent slavery and raise the stakes that are not beneficial to the country.

On Sunday, there was a feeling of freedom in the center of Beirut. Propagandas which have been going on for some months, concerning claims that people have abandoned the ranks of the March 14 Group, were refuted. The Lebanese have proven their commitment to fight for their freedom — far from the tutelage of their neighbors. They have shown that they are not scared of the difficulties and destructions that are now part of the March 8 Group, which has been serving parochial interests. Members of this group are in bondage of terrorist activities that occur from time to time behind the scene in order to strengthen relations with foreign collaborators to alter the turn of events in the region and the entire globe.

Lebanon and the whole Arab world witnessed Sunday the son who was eulogizing his father who served the country meritoriously and compared him with the terrorists who eulogized a criminal whose hands were full of innocent blood. Lebanon was with a man who gave hope to 35,000 Lebanese youths by educating them. This is in contrast with the voice of a man who planted over 35,000 bombs throughout Lebanon to assist the foreigners in destroying the country.

The blood of Rafik Al-Hariri has brought hope of freedom, independence and determination to properly reconstruct the country. Followers of the March 14 Group have triumphed over the threatening and scary voices known for the use of missiles in South Lebanon. The expression of real Lebanon, which is overwhelmed with renewed hope, took place at the Liberation Square in Beirut Sunday. They all berated the hired agents who have passion for blood spilling, assassination and destruction.
