Desperate thief, finding nothing valuable, makes do with clothes

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 11: A Kuwaiti man filed a police complaint saying someone broke into his house in Naim area and escaped with some clothes. He said the thief might have looked for something valuable as all the things in his house were thrown around, but on finding nothing of value, he stole clothes.
Securitymen are investigating the case.

36 grenades found: Al-Jahra securitymen found 36 grenades in Al-Mutla’a desert area opposite Border Security Department Friday. Sources say military men detonated the bombs.
The bombs are believed to have been planted by Saddam Hussein’s forces during the invasion in 1990. A case was registered.

Iron thieves caught: Jahra securitymen arrested three Asians for stealing iron rods in Saad Al-Abdullah area and referred them to authorities. During interrogation, the Asians reportedly confessed their involvement in several theft cases and said they sold the stolen iron in Amghara scrapyard.

Illegals nabbed: Hawalli securitymen arrested two Ethiopian women for violating the Residence Law and referred them to authorities. Sources say security patrols noticed the women walking along a road in Salmiya area and asked them to show their identity documents, following which they checked records and discovered that the women were violating the residence law.

Airport security ‘breached
’: A Kuwaiti had a heated argument with an airport security officer who prevented him from entering a restricted area at Kuwait International Airport.
Security sources disclosed the Kuwaiti deceived the officer, claiming the shift supervisor allowed him to enter the transit area to send his mother off.  However, the officer consulted the shift supervisor who denied giving permission to the Kuwaiti, resulting in a heated argument between the officer and the Kuwaiti.  Other officers then intervened to settle the dispute amicably. 
The citizen also agreed to sign a pledge of good conduct.
