KUWAIT CITY, Feb 10:  An Asian, in his 40s, tried to commit suicide by jumping from an under construction building in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh Tuesday.
 Securitymen, firemen and paramedics were dispatched to the location immediately after the Operations Room received information about the incident. They tried to convince the Asian not to push through with his plan for about one and a half hour.  They also discovered he was under the influence of alcohol. 
A case was registered and investigations are in progress to determine the reasons that prompted the Asian to try to end his own life.

Peon steals shoes: Securitymen have arrested an Asian peon for stealing shoes of policemen from the storage room of an undisclosed security department in Abdally.
Police discovered the door of the storage room was broken, so they immediately inspected the whole area until they found several pairs of shoes were missing.
Initial investigations revealed the Asian peon stole the shoes, which worth KD 80 each pair, and sold them for KD 10.  He was referred to the authorities for the necessary legal action.

Wife assaulted: A 28-year-old Filipina filed a complaint at Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh Police Station against her Arab husband who allegedly beat her Tuesday. 
She provided police with a medical certificate to substantiate her claims.  The husband will be summoned soon for questioning.
