Three men caught for abducting Asians, holding them at ransom
KUWAIT CITY, Feb 9: A Kuwaiti man allegedly beat his ex-wife in her house in Jabriya area. Sources say the man wanted to see his children, but since it was not the day he was authorized by the court to visit the children, the ex-wife refused. This infuriated the Kuwaiti and he beat the woman. A case was registered at Salmiya Police Station and investigations are going on.
Driver steals KD 300: A Kuwaiti man filed a case at Keifan Police Station accusing his Asian driver of stealing KD 300. The complainant said he noticed the driver’s absence and on making inquires, found that the accused already left for his home country. Securitymen are investigating the case.
Asians kidnapped...: The Farwaniya securitymen have arrested three people for kidnapping Asians and holding them for ransom ranging between KD 500 and KD 1,000, reports Al-Rai daily.
The daily quoting security sources said police acting on information intensified their efforts drew a sketch of the suspect and caught one of them in Riqei.
During interrogation the man admitted to the charge and guided to his partners.
The men were identified by the victims during a legal lineup.
Kuwaiti’s home ‘cleaned up’: Police are looking for unidentified burglars who allegedly broke into the home of a Kuwaiti man in Al-Rihab and emptied its contents including, clothes, electrical cables and even manholes covers, reports Al-Dar daily.
According to the complainant the theft took place when he accompanied his mother for medical treatment overseas.

Bikers refused entry: The Ministry of Interior recently refused permission for three Saudi motor bikers to enter the country because they did not abide by traffic laws and regulations of Kuwait, reports Al-Jareedah daily.
The three Saudis said they were visiting Kuwait to congratulate HH Sheikh Salem Al-Ali on his safe return to Kuwait.
Cash, phone stolen: Police are looking for an unidentified person for breaking into the car of a Kuwaiti man and stealing his money and cell phone. The incident happened in the suburb of Sa’ad Al-Abdullah, reports Arrouiah daily.
The man added the car was parked in front of his home.
