Transformation of words into actions, tired of empty statements
EASING procedures at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry has been the slogan of successive ministers for many years. Recently, incumbent Minister Ahmad Rashed Al-Haroun adopted the same slogan but we have not seen any significant change so far. All the previous 20 ministers have discussed ways to eliminate bureaucracy or facilitate procedures in the ministry, but everything stops every time the government or a minister resigns.
We do not want the incumbent minister to go without doing anything because he is a Kuwaiti businessman. We expect him to take the necessary action, including the cancellation of bureaucratic decisions issued by his predecessors. We hope he regulates work procedures at the ministry as the people are now tired of hearing empty statements. We eagerly look forward to the transformation of his words into actions.
