‘Tehran logic Saddam-style’
IRAN has an uncertain policy, similar to that of a reckless and violent boy. We are not saying this because Iran supports a number of destructive extremist groups, but due to its overall policy, particularly its nuclear file. Iran has removed all the masks it used earlier to market this file as it needs more time to actualize its objectives known only to the evils in Tehran.
This file has proven to the whole world that Iran is not serious in its alleged plan to confront the international community regarding its nuclear program. This has put the country inside a circle of worries and instability, posing a grave threat to the region. The entire world is now tired of the usual Iranian excuse — the so-called right to have nuclear power for peaceful purposes.
Iran tests missiles and other weapons daily, making it a ‘center of threat’ for various countries in the region. We should not ignore the fact that Iran’s neighbors have the right to calculate the dangerous effect of this ‘center’ to their national security. Iran seems keen on leading the region towards a dark era as it has continued to disregard warnings from neighboring countries. Tehran has outrightly rejected the installation of a defense system in GCC countries even if it is not a threat to Iran. Why did Iran reject the idea? Is Iran’s stand on the issue not a cause of insecurity and worry among GCC countries?
Do Iranian officials know that the international regulations allow any country which feels threatened by developments in its neighbors to express its concerns and demand support? Iran has defied any statement against the construction of nuclear reactors near the borders of GCC countries. These reactors might cause environmental and security problems to GCC states, yet the Iranian authorities hastily responded to criticism from neighboring countries concerning the nuclear reactors. The Iranian media has also downplayed the dangerous effect of the reactors, which might lead to a crisis not only in Iran but the whole world as well.
Iran’s stand reminds us of the old days under the regime of Saddam Hussein, who rejected and criticized any opposing view from the international community. He even threatened to remove Israel from the map by using chemical weapons. We witnessed the end of this killer when he was executed for the atrocious crimes he committed. Iraq suffered under his brutal leadership even of it used to be the fourth country with huge oil reserves in the world. The greedy emperor controls the policies of Tehran. This means ruling by fear not only because Iran supports or harbors extremist groups, but also its insistence on acquiring nuclear power and its ulterior motive behind this plan.
Iran’s procrastination in negotiations concerning its nuclear program has revealed the hidden agenda of the Tehran regime. Iran wants to continue its nuclear program to establish itself as a new colonizing power in the region. This is quite difficult to achieve during the current era as the situation is totally different from that of the last century. The hidden codes of the Iranian regime entail that it is still living in the old days. The international community has repeatedly asked Iran to stop its frivolous plan as its nuclear ambitions will only destroy the economy and life in general. It will only lead the region towards endless chaos and instability!
