‘We’ve had enough of it’ Drugs intake kill Kuwaiti

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 30: A Kuwaiti woman and her children put their Kuwaiti patriarch behind bars for drinking alcohol and beating them on a regular basis.
The family of the citizen - a man in his forties - decided to put an end to his abusive ways. When he returned home drunk Friday night and began to beat one of the children, the other family members dragged him out of the house in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh and locked the door.
They then called up Operations Room, who sent security officials to the site. The officials apprehended the citizen and referred him to the authorities for further action. A case was registered.


Drugs intake kill Kuwaiti : A Kuwaiti citizen in his thirties died in his apartment in Hawally due to a drug overdose on Thursday.
Security officials, paramedics and officials from the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) arrived at the scene on receiving information about the death and found equipment used to consume the drugs besides the body. The corpse was referred to the Forensic Department for an autopsy and a case was registered.

Man dies on duty: A Bedoun military personnel in his forties died Friday night while on duty at a camp in Jahra.
The official was found lying unconscious during duty at the camp and was immediately taken to Jahra Hospital. He was declared dead after an examination and his body was referred to the Forensic Department. He is believed to have died of a heart attack.

KD 7,800 stolen from car
: A Kuwaiti citizen registered a case at the Qairawan police station, accusing unidentified persons of stealing KD 7,800 from his car.
The citizen told officials that he had withdrawn the amount from the bank and went home, leaving the money in his car. When he returned, he was shocked to find that his car window had been shattered and the money had disappeared. The officials recorded details of the incident and investigations are on to find and arrest the culprits.

Child critical in crash
: A Kuwaiti child aged 10 years sustained serious injuries in a buggy collision in Jelaia.
Security officials and paramedics rushed to the scene on receiving information about the incident and discovered that the accident took place when the child’s buggy - that was also carrying a 12-year-old youth - collided with another buggy at a campsite in Jelaia. He was referred to the Intensive Care Unit in a critical condition and a case was registered.
