Officer admits raping girls to be deported for over 15 years Asians busted in Farwaniya prostitution dens
KUWAIT CITY, Jan 23: Securitymen affiliated to Farwaniya directorate carried out an intensive campaign against violators of the law across the governorate and managed to arrest eleven Asian expatriates — both men and women — for engaging in immoral activities in several prostitution dens. In line with instructions from the Director of Farwaniya Security Directorate Brigadier Ghloum Habeeb, the officials also arrested another Asian expatriate for the manufacture and sale of locally-manufactured liquor. All the apprehended persons were referred to the authorities and are expected to be deported once the necessary procedures are carried out.
Officer admits rape: An Attorney-General demanded that the detention of a first sergeant — who was arrested for having sex with 15 Asian girls on his apartment in Salmiya — be extended, reports Al-Anba daily.
The suspect had admitted to indulging in such activities for around 15 years, saying he would have sex with the girls and then move them to the Deportation Center, promising to help with their release.
A security source said the police are considering a new method to transport female lawbreakers to the Deportation Center, by using female police officials to do the job.
Duo held selling drugs: Two Egyptian men were arrested for trafficking in drugs, reports Al-Anba daily.
Investigations conducted by security officials revealed that the two men were selling hashish in Shuwaikh and put them under surveillance for three days. They were arrested during a buy-bust operation, while selling a finger of hashish worth KD 50 to a police agent with marked money.
The officials also uncovered 500 grams of hashish in possession of the traffickers. They were referred to the authorities for further action.
Meanwhile, security officials affiliated to Ahmadi directorate arrested three Asians for trafficking in alcohol, reports Al-Anba daily.
The three traders were standing on an open ground in Mahboula when they aroused the suspicion of the officials. The officials confronted the Asians and uncovered 150 bottles of locally-manufactured liquor in their possession. The men and the alcohol were referred to the authorities for further action.
12 cars impounded: Hawally traffic police launched an intensive security campaign across the governorate against traffic law violators, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The officials reportedly issued 143 traffic violations and impounded 12 cars for not meeting the conditions of safe driving. One person was allegedly arrested for driving at a speed higher than 175 kmph.
Man with gun sought: Police are on the lookout for an unidentified person for possessing firearms, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
The officials rushed to a site in Hawally after receiving information that a person got out of his car and went into a grocery shop carrying a revolver but found that he had already driven off.The daily did not give further details.
