Iranian brings drugs in car
KUWAIT CITY, Jan 13: Officers from the anti-narcotics unit apprehended an Iranian expatriate who traded in clothes and drugs, after the Director General of the Anti-drugs General Department Brigadier Ahmad Al-Khalifa was informed about his operation. A team of detectives was formed to trail him, whereby an undercover agent bargained with the man to purchase 5g of heroin for KD 150. He was arrested during delivery of the drug.
In the meantime, he led detectives to a flat in Sharq where the officers uncovered an additional 2-kg of opium and half a kg of heroin. During interrogation, the suspect confessed he drove his car to his home country, where he hid drugs inside the car. He added he came back to Kuwait with his car, aboard a boat from Iran.
