8 kg opium, forged money with Iranian duo

KUWAIT CITY: Acting on a tip-off received by the Director General of the Anti-drugs General Department Brigadier Ahmad Al-Khalifa about the activities of some persons who peddled in drugs, officers from the anti-narcotics unit managed to arrest two Iranians-a satellite operator and another unemployed person- in possession of 8kg of Opium, valued at KD 40,000.  The arrest also led to discovery of forged 3,000 Kuwaiti dinars with them.

In a statement, Al-Khalifa disclosed the anti-narcotics men have uncovered a huge quantity of drugs. He added the department is ready to trail all drugs suspects who are impacting the youth negatively with their activities, and urged both citizens and expatriates to report any information to help in tracking the drug dealers.
