KUWAIT CITY, Jan 6: Manjooran Housing, an Indian property developer, is holding a three-day property fair at Ramada Hotel starting from Thursday to Saturday. Director of Manjooran Housing, John J Manjooran, announced this at a press conference Wednesday.
The fair showcases some of the newly launched projects of the developer in Kerala, India. The Scarlet Apartments is part of Manjooran Housing’s Rowan Park Project spread out on three acres of land.
Talking about Rowan Park, the director mentioned that it is a 3-acre township project with 16 villas and 200 apartments. “Villas are laid out around a central designer garden. The villas are priced from Rs. 87,00,000 upwards.”
Kakkanad is known for its potentially climbing realty value as the place is home to many development projects coming up in the state of Kerala such as Smart City, Infopark, Collectorate, seaport and airport roads and Vegaland, which is theme park.

Another project that will be showcased at the fair is the Riverine Waterfront villas by River Periyar at Aluva.
The real estate sector in Kerala was hit in the recent global economic recession. The reality prices had been on the boom until then in Kerala, and as a result of the downturn the prices began to slide.
Moreover, as Keralites form a large expatriate community, especially in the Gulf, the effects of recession panned out further, with many expatriates getting unemployed.
Another problem area is IT/BPO service industries. These are the only industries in Kerala and many of them belong to the high income group in Kerala. Layoffs in this industry are bad news for real estate, car companies, hotels and other service industries.
However, with the economy returning to normal and the fears of global recession alleviated to some extent, the real estate sector in Kerala is stabilizing.
Talking about Riverine Waterfront project Manjooran said that the project, in part, is designed to offer a second home. “It is styled like a resort. The price of a villa in this project begins from Rs. 67,00,000.
“The projects nearing completion are Orchid Meadow Apartments at Kakkanad and Moonstone at Palarivattom. These ready-to-move-in apartments are ranging from Rs. 35,00,000.”
