KUWAIT CITY, Dec 23, (KUNA): His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah met visiting Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak at the Bayan Palace here Wednesday. The meeting was also attended by HH the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Kuwaiti First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, other senior state officials and the Egyptian leader’s accompanying delegation.

During their talks, they discussed ways and means of further developing and reinforcing Kuwaiti-Egyptian cooperative ties for the common good of both Arab nations, several issues of mutual interest as well as the latest regional and international developments.
The talks were held in a friendly atmosphere that reflected the spirit of brotherly relations between both nations and their mutual desire for more cooperation and coordination at all levels.
The Egyptian President was received upon arrival at Kuwait International airport by the Amir, the Crown Prince, NA Speaker Jassem Mohammad Al-Kharafi, Deputy Chief of the National guards Sheikh Missal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, First Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, and top state officials.

The honorary delegation from the Amiri Diwan to accompany the Egyptian President is headed by at the Advisor at the Amiri Diwan Mohammad Dhayfallah Sharar.
The Egyptian delegation includes Foreign Minister Ahmed Abul gheit, Minister of Information Anas Al-Fiqqi, Minister of Investment Mahmoud Moheildin, Head of intelligence body Al-Sayid Omar Mahmoud Sulaiman, Head of Presidential Office Dr Zakariya Azmi, and a number of top Egyptian officials.
Mubarak and his accompanying delegation departed the country later on Wednesday after a one day visit.
Upon departure the President was seen off by the Amir, the Crown Prince, Al-Kharafi, the First Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense Sheikh Jaber and other high ranking government officials.
