Kokan United, as part of its commitment to social welfare, arranged to distribute Adhiya meat to over 175 underprivileged and needy laborers in Jleeb Shuyoukh camps during Eid Al Adha 2009. The organization acknowledged the exceptional effort of the volunteers from Al Babtain Turnkey Solutions Company who assisted in executing the task efficiently. A special note of thanks also goes to Mr Yusuf Bhatti who sponsored food packets containing 5 kgs of rice and a liter of cooking oil for each of the laborers.

Kokan United was established to bring together the potential of local Kokani individuals for the socio-economic development of the community as a whole, and Indians in general.

The organization aims to achieve their vision through active participation in various related social, cultural, economical, recreational and religious development activities.
This event follows closely on the heels of two successful events organized by Kokan United this year, one being the Kokan United Family Day, the other an Iftaar get-together during the month of Ramadan.
All three events were part of the organization’s aim to promote healthy social recreation and brotherhood within the community. Kokan United invites all Kokanis to be a part of this noble mission.
