7 cellphones seized from inmates Indian man attempts suicide

Kuwait Ciry, 21 Dec : A security campaign that was organized across all cells of the Central Jail resulted in the confiscation of 7 mobile phones and an envelope filled with heroin on Sunday.
The inmates in possession of these items were referred to the authorities and investigations are on to determine how they managed to obtain the materials.

‘Machine’ kills Indian: An Indian expatriate aged 59 years died while operating a machine in a bakery in Sabhan on Sunday.
Security officials and paramedics rushed to the scene on receiving information about the incident and discovered that the expatriate died after severely injuring himself while using one of the machines. His body was referred to the Forensic Department for investigation and a case was registered.

Indian attempts suicide: An Indian expatriate aged 31 years was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit at Mubarak Hospital after a failed attempt to commit suicide by consuming cleaning liquid in his flat in Salmiya on Sunday.
Security officials and paramedics rushed to the scene on receiving information that a man was lying unconscious in his apartment and referred him to the hospital. A case was registered and investigations are on to determine the reason behind his actions.

Iranian falls from boat, hurt: An Iranian expatriate aged 31 years sustained fractures and injuries after he fell from his boat at Doha Port.
Security officials and paramedics rushed to the scene on receiving information about the incident and referred him to Sabah Hospital. A case was registered and initial investigations revealed that he was working in the boat and fell after he lost his balance.

Parked car damaged: A Kuwaiti citizen in his forties registered a case in Eshbelia accusing an unidentified minor of damaging his car before fleeing from the scene on Sunday.
The citizen told officials that he was sitting in his house when he heard a loud crash. He went out to inspect the source of the sound and discovered that his vehicle had been hit. He tried to find the guilty but failed. Witnesses, however, told him that the damage was caused unintentionally by a Kuwaiti minor. Investigations are on to find and summon the accused for interrogation.

20 hand grenades recovered: Acting on information bomb disposal experts from the Kuwait Army rushed to the desert at an unidentified location and recovered 20 hand grenades, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The bombs are believed to be remnant of ordnances left behind by the defeated Iraqi army in 1991.
