KUWAIT CITY, Oct 24: Police have arrested two juveniles who attempted to rape a Filipina housemaid, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
Security sources said one of the minors took advantage of the absence of his family and invited a friend over to share a pornographic film. The two juveniles began to exercise what they watched and went on to molest the maid, who screamed for help and managed to run to the street.
Meanwhile, securitymen rushed to the house and seized the two juveniles, who were referred to authorities.

Iranian hangs to death: An Iranian national aged 23 years was found dead at the family home in Sabahiya, reports Al-Qabas daily.
According to a security source, the corpse of the victim was found hanging from the ceiling. The body of the victim has been referred to the Forensic Department by officials and investigations are on to determine the circumstances surrounding the death.
In an unrelated incident, an Asian man in his fifties was found dead in his house in Hawalli.
It is believed that the man died of heart failure. The corpse was referred to the Forensic Department by officials and initial investigations revealed the man had died around 5 hours before his body was discovered.

Fake products seized: Officers from the General Customs Department at North Shuwaikh Command headed by the Intellectual Property Ownership Department Manager Osama Al-Shami foiled the bid by a certain company to smuggle fake products from a neighboring country.
The Media Coordinator at the Customs Department Mubarak Al-Qattan disclosed the items included bags and sports kits worth thousands of dinars.  He explained the officers discovered inconsistency on the part of the importers, and immediately carried out a thorough check on the goods, to discover the goods bore the trademark of an internationally renowned company.
Al-Qattan affirmed the act violates intellectual property rights, and promised the department will take stiff legal action against the importer to serve as a deterrent to others.
