KUWAIT CITY, Sept 18:  Securitymen have arrested a 19-year-old Kuwaiti for smoking during Ramadan fasting hours in front of a complex in Hawally.
Eyewitnesses disclosed a security team on routine duty in the area noticed the suspect was smoking in front of a complex, so they approached him but he resisted arrest. Police overpowered him and referred him to the relevant authorities for the necessary legal action.

7 women detained: Police have arrested seven women, whose nationalities have not been disclosed, for indulging in immoral activities. They were arrested inside an apartment in Hawalli, reports Al-Rai daily.
The daily quoting security sources said the police acting on information sent an undercover agent and then raided the apartment.
During interrogation all the women who were in the apartment at the time are said to have admitted to their involvement in prostitution.
The women have been referred to the Criminal Investigation Department.
